Process

Roof Installation

The process of installing a new roof may vary depending on the type of roofing material and the project's specific requirements.

Preparation

The first step is to prepare the roof deck for installation. This may involve removing the existing roofing materials, repairing any damage, and ensuring that the deck is clean and free of debris.

Installation of Underlayment

Next, an underlayment is installed over the roof deck to provide a waterproof barrier and protect the roof from moisture. The type of underlayment used may vary depending on the roofing material being installed.

Installation of Flashing

Flashing is installed around any roof penetrations, such as vents or chimneys, to prevent water from seeping into the roof.

Installation of Roofing Material

The roofing material is then installed on top of the underlayment and flashing. This may involve nailing, screwing, or adhering the material to the roof deck.

Finishing Touches

Once the roofing material is installed, any necessary finishing touches are completed. This may include installing ridge caps, sealing edges and seams, and ensuring that the roof is properly ventilated.

Inspection

A final inspection is conducted to ensure that the roof has been installed properly and meets all applicable building codes and regulations.
